I’ve flown about 100,000 miles in the past 3 years and have learned a lot about how to be a smarter traveler. One of the things I’ve discovered is that I’m much happier when I’ve packed the right things in my toiletry kit. It sounds stupid, maybe even shallow, but when you’re far, far from home there’s something just very comforting about using your normal toothbrush and that trusty ‘ol hairbrush. Keeping some semblance of my usual self-care routine helps keep me balanced when I’m on the road.
Traveling is not easy. It’s often uncomfortable, inconvenient and exhausting. I’ve found that traveling is a lot better for me when I’ve taken a little time in advance to make sure I have everything I need.
I ordered a cute toiletry bag from Etsy last year and it's been perfect for everything from weekend trips to international adventures. Here is a list of EVERYTHING that is currently squeezed into my toiletry bag that I couldn’t leave home without.
